A tree with ecological, cultural, or emotional significance is identified and nominated. We geo-locate it, determine its genus and species and basic physical metrics.

This is the magical part: We bring the tree to digital life and let it interact with humans! People can ask the tree questions and get ecologically relevant answers back.

People can interact with the tree and each other, collect creative works, vote on competitions and projects, and follow the tree’s evolving ecological and cultural life.

Arboriculturalists and scientists evaluate the tree’s health and environment around the tree and begin gathering data to build an ecological profile for the tree.
